Healey Academic Center (former Kotch-Conley Building)
SCRANTON, PA
The $2.0 million dollar project was for renovation of an existing 2-story 24,000 s.f. building to house administration offices, science and technology classrooms and faculty offices. The project requires the demolition of an unused auditorium and significant demolition of existing walls and non-bearing structure. Interior was completely renovated, including new electrical and mechanical systems, floor ceiling and wall finishes, as well as new wall configurations as required to accommodate new program requirements.
Former Koch-Conley American Legion Post which is located at 415 North Washington Avenue. It is now known as the Healey Academic Center and houses classrooms, faculty offices, academic and continuing ed administration and Admissions. The Lackawanna College Kitchen is also located at the Healey Center.
